The Lotus 72, adorned in the iconic red, white, and gold Gold Leaf livery (1970–1971) before shifting to black and gold, revolutionized F1 with side-mounted radiators and a wedge-shaped profile. Designed by Colin Chapman, it won the 1970 Constructors' Championship and propelled Jochen Rindt to a posthumous 1970 Drivers' title.
