Mclaren 720S

Exhibit Description

McLaren's mid-range supercar that embarrassed cars twice its price, the 720S launched in 2017 with a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 producing 720 PS (hence the name) and a drag coefficient lower than a Ferrari. Its "shark fin" dihedral doors open in a way that makes every arrival theatrical. It was also designed with "biomorphic" body language — the side intakes are shaped like gills. Someone at McLaren was having fun.
