Pagani Huayra

Exhibit Description

Named after the Andean god of wind, the Huayra was built by Horacio Pagani — an Argentinian who moved to Italy, worked at Lamborghini, and then decided he could do better on his own (he could). Each Huayra takes roughly 8 months to handcraft in Modena. It has a twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG V12, active aerodynamics that adjust per corner, and an interior that looks like a steampunk watchmaker designed it in a fever dream.

Curator Note

The Huayra is for collectors who appreciate art as much as engineering. Display it in a case if you can — this one deserves to be seen as the sculpture it is.
