Porsche entered the EV era by immediately setting a Nürburgring record with the Taycan Turbo S — because of course they did. The Taycan uses an 800V architecture (most EVs use 400V) that allows faster charging and more consistent performance. It also sounds like a Porsche, a design decision made after extensive research found that people found the silence genuinely unpleasant. The synthetic sound is actual engineering, not a speaker trick.
